The actress won the Critics' Choice Television Award as Best Supporting Actress for a movie/ministry, and was also nominated for Best Actress at both the Emmy Awards & Golden Globes for her role. Tolman also had an appearance on the Mindy Show playing Abby Berman a romance writer. In 2015, she played the role of a support of Michael Dougherty s comedy horror film Krampus.
